Anne Louise Lambert
Anne was born in 1955 in the city of Brisbane Australia.
She was in a few Aussie TV soap operas in the 1970s and then
landed the role of Miranda in the hit movie …. “Picnic at Hanging Rock” … 1975.
Moving to England she starred in the TV series…. ‘The Borgias’
and the 1982 movie… ‘The Draughtsmans Contract….’
Today Anne is living in Sydney , she has changed careers and is working as a psychology therapist….
The Fenn Street Gang was a British television situation comedy which ran for three seasons between 1971 and 1973.
It was a spin-off from the popular series ‘Please Sir! ‘and followed the lives of many of the pupils from Fenn Street School as they entered the world of work.
tThe series was especially memorable for the presence of
Carol Hawkins….. the 60s and 70s was her time
she was the ultimate …… ” Dolly Bird ”
John Alderton (Mr Hedges, their form-master in Please Sir!) appeared in 3 episodes of the first series of The Fenn Street Gang .
The series ran for two years and 47 episodes
Carol Hawkins carried her role from Please Sir into the new Fenn St series in 1971.
She went on to many film roles during the 1970s.

They began filming at the start of a six week heat wave when the grass in Britain turned yellow and fires were breaking out all over the place.
